NMSA donates lifejackets to West New Britain Small Craft Registry - Papua New Guinea National Maritime Safety Authority

The National Maritime Safety Authority (NMSA) is committed to promote sea safety culture within the 15 Maritime provinces in the country.

The Authority’s commitment was proven through an additional donation of 250 lifejackets which makes a total of 500 given to the West New Britain Small Craft Registry recently in Kimbe.

NMSA General Manager/CEO, Mr Paul Unas who officiate at the ceremony said: “The Authority is resourced and ready to support the Maritime Province to administer the Small Craft Act 2011 which includes supply of safety equipment such as life jackets as an incentive to boat operators and owners for safe travel.”
